Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 for Windows

A new installment to the thrilling horror franchise

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 is yet another installment in the popular horror game franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s. In this adventure game, you will have to survive a series of nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, a fictional restaurant where the titular character—Freddy—resides.

Similar to the first Help Wanted title, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 will also be eligible to play with a VR headset to allow players a more immersive experience where they can experience all the thrills and jumpscares in a more realistic manner.

Survive your first night on the job

The Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise has made itself a household name following the success of its first installment. It follows the story of an employee at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, who has found himself in the middle of a predicament as the restaurant’s animatronics suddenly come to life. The original game featured several tasks and mini-quests that you had to complete all while avoiding capture.

In Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2, players can look forward to new mini-games that will require them to interact with the objects around the restaurant. You can also expect new animatronic characters and new storylines that further add to the extensive lore of the franchise. However, some stories can be confusing for new players, so you’ll have to play through the previous games to better understand the context. There are also new locations that players can explore, with numerous secrets and scares hiding around every corner. 

Currently only available in VR

With its iconic 3D graphics, players can look forward to immersing themselves in the game’s haunting atmosphere. Players will have to navigate through various areas of the pizzeria while completing a series of tasks from simple machine management to heart-racing mini-games that can either lead to your safety or your downfall. Be wary, though, as some areas will make use of the dim lighting to hide terrifying surprises.

For its initial release, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 is currently only available for players with a VR headset. While this feature allows players to better immerse themselves in the game’s terrifying setting, it does mean that a large portion of players looking forward to this sequel will be unable to see how the story plays out. However, the game’s developers have stated that they do have plans to release the standard/flat version for everyone to play in the near future.

With a number of new additions to the gameplay and lore in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2, fans of the franchise can look forward to even more exciting experiences as they continue to unravel the secrets behind the restaurant. While the storyline can be a bit overwhelming for new players, the immersive experience makes it worth looking deeper into.
